TV Production.
Recently I had my first experience as a TV director and on camera. This semester I've been working on TV production and I've pretty much done some control room and studio production, running the gamut of audio technician to camera crew. I had directed a segment for the Connecticut Insurance Department with local TV personality Darren Sweeney. This was a very cool experience for me and I can't wait to see the taping which we decide is the best take. I even worked on a show for the Unavison network, a show called "El Show De Analeh". I was a camera man and it went well, there was much to write about expect we taped two 30 minute shows so it was approximately 4 hours of standing, it was a very enjoyable experience and this show will be broadcast on channel 18 this Saturday at 11am.

TV production.
what an amazing day today was, not only did I get to make up on some extra credit, I also got to work on two TV productions. First with graphics then as an audio technician. One of the shows will be televised and I'll get a credit in the end credits, albeit it's a Spanish broadcast. I'm very happy nonetheless.

Remember Me

Lana Del Rey recently gained notoriety after a "disastrous" SNL performance; which after viewing said performance found nothing tremendously disastrous except her lack of rythmn. Anyway, I have been listening to her second debut album (another controversy which I'll avoid in digression) and I'm quite impressed I love the songs and the overall vibe. I supposed she's categorised as indie-pop and her songs have a dark feel to them. Me loves. Check out born to die video and visit her website too.

Rachel Stevens - Nothing In Common
It's been a few years since Rachel Stevens has released any new material, and recently a demo surfaced which was recorded for the Come and Get It album. What can I say I love these minimalistic chilly pop songs, specifically Euro-Pop divas like Kylie and such. I love the middle 8 breakdown where she sings Who are we Fooling, check out the YouTube video of the complete song.
