ANGGUN - ONLY LOVE (OFFICIAL)

Anggun - Je Partirai

Anggun has lifted the second single from her highly anticipated by me album, released later this year in French and about 17 other languages, just kidding, but seriously like 2 more, English and Indonesian. This song is a grower, I always am impressed with anything Anggun produces though so this is no exception.

Anggun - Only Love/Echos

So 2011 is shaping out to be an exciting year in music, we see Britney, GaGa and Beyonce all gearing up to release new music, and countless other artists. I'm most excited for Anggun who's last release was 2008's Elevation, which was released in French speaking county and Internationally as well as to Asian markets. Her first single released on April 11 is the melodic Only Love, which has a french version and also Indonesian version showcasing multi-cultural versatility, which is one of the things I admire about Anggun who is now signed to Warner. The promotional picture for the single looks gorgeous and I can not wait until September for the tentative release of the new album; Echos, which will get a variety of releases, including French and International versions - the most exciting is what appears to be the Indonesian release which might get a full album treatment rather than the one or two re-working of songs already in French or English. Artist profile: Anggun

Anggun is truly a beautiful woman and an incredible singer, I fell in love with her in 1998 when my friend at the time Kevin suggested that I buy an album that had recently been delivered to our store (I used to work at a record store), looking back now over ten years later, I am very happy I had taken the risk and bought the album, I initially rejected it. I have been happy with everything she has done musically since then, her latest album is out now and has an R&B flavor.
