Lana Del Rey recently gained notoriety after a "disastrous" SNL performance; which after viewing said performance found nothing tremendously disastrous except her lack of rythmn. Anyway, I have been listening to her second debut album (another controversy which I'll avoid in digression) and I'm quite impressed I love the songs and the overall vibe. I supposed she's categorised as indie-pop and her songs have a dark feel to them. Me loves. Check out born to die video and visit her website too.

Rachel Stevens - Nothing In Common

It's been a few years since Rachel Stevens has released any new material, and recently a demo surfaced which was recorded for the Come and Get It album. What can I say I love these minimalistic chilly pop songs, specifically Euro-Pop divas like Kylie and such. I love the middle 8 breakdown where she sings Who are we Fooling, check out the YouTube video of the complete song.

Spankin' New Tracks

I've been recording again and I have two new tracks to put out into the world, these two are interesting I've been playing around with sound effects and production and I'm happy with the results, I'm still a novice when it comes to music but I absolutely love the downtime and the results, so here are my two tracks and I must give a little feedback on the nature of them, Supernature is about an android named Artil and also my new alter-ego; he is dark and frosty lol. The other track is a remix or re-working of a song I recorded last summer, it's DigitalDirtMoments (Blue Wedding Remix) and it's about love.

PART 2: RADIOACTIVE | MARINA AND THE DIAMONDS

Nicola Roberts

As one fifth of one of my favorite girl groups, Nicola Roberts is gearing up to release her first solo project and I just saw the cover art and the track-listing, I love the first two singles from the album so far and I'm eagerly waiting to hear what the final project sounds like, I must say so far Nicola is the one who is more pop sounding of all the solo projects released, Chezza and Nadine take note on how it's done hon'.

LUCKY DAY/Single

Also the second single from the project is out and the video is pretty cool, maybe I'm impartial to gingers, I dunno. Check out the flick below.

ANGGUN - ONLY LOVE (OFFICIAL)

New track.

I been working out some beats recently and experimenting with chords and a middle 8. This was completed yesterday and it's not too bad, it's not great either. I hopefully will get to a place where I'm excited about sharing my recordings. This one is about a bunch of things, love related. It's called Suspense.

Anggun - Only Love/Echos

So 2011 is shaping out to be an exciting year in music, we see Britney, GaGa and Beyonce all gearing up to release new music, and countless other artists. I'm most excited for Anggun who's last release was 2008's Elevation, which was released in French speaking county and Internationally as well as to Asian markets. Her first single released on April 11 is the melodic Only Love, which has a french version and also Indonesian version showcasing multi-cultural versatility, which is one of the things I admire about Anggun who is now signed to Warner. The promotional picture for the single looks gorgeous and I can not wait until September for the tentative release of the new album; Echos, which will get a variety of releases, including French and International versions - the most exciting is what appears to be the Indonesian release which might get a full album treatment rather than the one or two re-working of songs already in French or English. Duran Duran - Ordinary World

This song reminds me of when I was 17.

Kazaky "In the middle" (official video)

This is their first video, these guys are really fantastic dancers, very gay though. It would be interesting to hear a real song from them.
