Big Music Tuesday
I'm still recovering from the line up of Diva's coming out this fall, and two of the biggest names in the game are set to drop albums this Tuesday so get ready to go out and buy them. First up Mariah's twelfth studio album is set to drop on September 29th after being delayed since August and after hearing it I have to say it is well worth the wait. Madonna is set to release her fourth best of collection and DVD compilation of most of her groundbreaking videos to date. So come Tuesday go out and support your local diva, or just go out and buy these albums.

A second video for Celebration
As rumoured earlier this month, there is in fact a second video for Celebration, this one features all the fans that showed up in Milan and Barcelona, it premieres tomorrow on Madonna's myspace and all over youtube by Friday.

Madonna Celebration MV
There is allegedly another version of this video with the original album track, I'm not impressed with this one, it's boring. Madonna's daughter dancing and the other dancers are about as good as it gets and Madonna looks good, but that's it.

Tuesday.
Tuesday is my favorite day of the week and usually it's a day for new releases, etc...
Madonna recently debuted her new single Celebration and I love it! It's a classic Madonna dance number and hopefully if it's anything like her previous hits the video will make me love it even more.

Madonna's third Greatest Hits (fourth counting Something to Remember)
So our lady of dance hits is back with another greatest hits and DVD collection come Spetember, I'm really excited seeing as this is exciting news for any Madonna fan. I am especially excited for the DVD which will include many or most of Madonna videos which for the first time will be available on DVD. I truly hope Don't Tell Me makes the cut since that is one of my all time Madonna favorites and I've never had it on DVD, I haven't seen it in awhile so I'm looking forward to this collection.
A “Celebration” Of Madonna Music - The Definitive Greatest Hits Collection September 28/29 Release
July 23, 2009 - For Immediate Release (Burbank, California) - Madonna, who has racked up a record 37 top 10 hits as well as seven No. 1 albums (including her last four) on the Billboard Pop Charts, has given her fans yet another opportunity to “celebrate” her musical achievements. Today, Warner Bros. Records officially confirmed the September 28th release in the U.S. (September 29 outside U.S.) of “CELEBRATION” – the ultimate compilation of Madonna songs. The songs on “Celebration” have all been remastered and selected by Madonna and her fans. They cover the expanse of the Material Girl’s extraordinary career of hits including “Everybody,” “Express Yourself,” “Vogue” and “4 Minutes.” “Celebration” will be available in a two-CD set as well as a single CD. There will also be a “Celebration” DVD released simultaneously which includes the video visionary’s best videos including several that have never before been available on DVD.
“Celebration,” the CD will also include two new songs that were recently recorded in New York City. The first single, also titled, “Celebration,” co-produced by Madonna and Paul Oakenfold, will be released August 3rd. A video for the single, which will be included on the “Celebration” DVD was just filmed in Milan, Italy and was directed by long time Madonna collaborator Jonas (“Ray of Light”) Akerlund. Several dance club remixes of “Celebration” are already headed to the clubs. The song will also be available on CD and vinyl maxi. Radio will receive the “Celebration” single on August 3rd.
The cover for “Celebration” was created by street pop artist “Mr. Brainwash” who is best known for “throwing modern cultural icons into a blender and turning it up to eleven.” (A copy of the cover image of the “Celebration” CDs and DVDs is attached)
Madonna, a multi Grammy award winning singer, writer and producer has had over 12 No. 1 singles and has a record-smashing 39 No. 1 singles on Billboard’s Hot Dance Club Songs Chart – by far the most of any artist in the over 30 year history of the list.
