Well a lot has happened since last time I posted: I was in a play, I started cooking more often, now I am feeling creative and confident and ready to make more content but very slowly…

It’s been awhile...
I don’t really have any exciting news or updates but definitely wanted to check in...does anybody read this blog (besides me)? Should I keep blogging? What should I blog about?

New Car
I bought a used/new car about two weeks ago, picked it up on Valentine's day, named it Cupid. It's a 2012 Nissan Versa and it's pretty much a snappy little automobile. I picked it up with my Brian and I'm pretty happy with it so far. The sales lady Kerry made it a breeze of an experience and comes highly recommended by yours truly. I bought it at Hertz, and as bonus we got a free week of rent a car service.

TV Production.
Recently I had my first experience as a TV director and on camera. This semester I've been working on TV production and I've pretty much done some control room and studio production, running the gamut of audio technician to camera crew. I had directed a segment for the Connecticut Insurance Department with local TV personality Darren Sweeney. This was a very cool experience for me and I can't wait to see the taping which we decide is the best take. I even worked on a show for the Unavison network, a show called "El Show De Analeh". I was a camera man and it went well, there was much to write about expect we taped two 30 minute shows so it was approximately 4 hours of standing, it was a very enjoyable experience and this show will be broadcast on channel 18 this Saturday at 11am.

TV production.
what an amazing day today was, not only did I get to make up on some extra credit, I also got to work on two TV productions. First with graphics then as an audio technician. One of the shows will be televised and I'll get a credit in the end credits, albeit it's a Spanish broadcast. I'm very happy nonetheless.

Remember Me

Lana Del Rey recently gained notoriety after a "disastrous" SNL performance; which after viewing said performance found nothing tremendously disastrous except her lack of rythmn. Anyway, I have been listening to her second debut album (another controversy which I'll avoid in digression) and I'm quite impressed I love the songs and the overall vibe. I supposed she's categorised as indie-pop and her songs have a dark feel to them. Me loves. Check out born to die video and visit her website too.

Rachel Stevens - Nothing In Common
It's been a few years since Rachel Stevens has released any new material, and recently a demo surfaced which was recorded for the Come and Get It album. What can I say I love these minimalistic chilly pop songs, specifically Euro-Pop divas like Kylie and such. I love the middle 8 breakdown where she sings Who are we Fooling, check out the YouTube video of the complete song.

DC Media Solutions
I recently started up a media profuction service and I have designed a logo and offer a list of services, including, photography, web design and layout, illustrating and more. I'm very optimistic about this and I'd love to take off in the new year and start working as my own boss and manager, I know it's hard to start off a new business so hopefully I'll feel more and more inspired. Let's go hard 2012!!!!

a quarter to six...
I can't sleep, I'm tired but I can't sleep. I guess I have a lot on my mind, the holidays are upon us, I need a job, my final projects for school are coming up, and so on. Needless to say I'm stressed. One of the bigger issue is my totally unrequited love life, which isn't quite as epic as that sounded but still in need of a major overhaul like everything else, so after listening to Alicia Keys' song about sleeping with a broken heart (or if you're sleep deprived as the case may be) I've come to the realization that no matter what I did, I deserve to have the respect of at least acknowledging what went wrong, so I guess I'm over it and I'm moving on. I'll post the song mentioned to further drive home this point.

Spankin' New Tracks
I've been recording again and I have two new tracks to put out into the world, these two are interesting I've been playing around with sound effects and production and I'm happy with the results, I'm still a novice when it comes to music but I absolutely love the downtime and the results, so here are my two tracks and I must give a little feedback on the nature of them, Supernature is about an android named Artil and also my new alter-ego; he is dark and frosty lol. The other track is a remix or re-working of a song I recorded last summer, it's DigitalDirtMoments (Blue Wedding Remix) and it's about love.

Nicola Roberts
As one fifth of one of my favorite girl groups, Nicola Roberts is gearing up to release her first solo project and I just saw the cover art and the track-listing, I love the first two singles from the album so far and I'm eagerly waiting to hear what the final project sounds like, I must say so far Nicola is the one who is more pop sounding of all the solo projects released, Chezza and Nadine take note on how it's done hon'.
