The Beach

Summer is winding down and I was so worried that I wouldn't get to go to the beach this year. Luckily for me I have a couple of awesome friends who are the bestest and we went to the beach and then had a mini-cookout. Hammonasset beach is a really fun place to spend a hot summer day or go for a weekend camping trip since it is both, there are camp grounds and a wide stretch of beach area, and thanks to Em and Cristy last weekend was a nice departure from the ho-hum of the city. Kudos.

Thrill Ride

A few weekends ago I went with my family to an amusement park, it was all fun and good however the main attraction for me was a roller coaster that is wooden and constructed in the mountainside the infamous Boulder Dash, what makes this roller coaster so awesome is the fact that it is high speed and it's not one that has a lot of high drops, just the fast exhilaration of the ride and the scenery around since it's all mountainside and trees. The park on a whole is cool it has the usual theme park fare and is good for a day out with the family. I'll definitely be going back there. I had a blast!

LIMBO on XBox 360

Yesterday my brother and I were playing this game on 360 and if you know me then you know I love adventure games. I'm not all into gory or over glorified violent games, however this one is somewhat different and stylised. It's a very dark game and if you've played it you know what I mean. The whole game is a silhouette in the film noir style and the character is a little boy who is trying to find his sister while avoiding certain peril; for instance a giant spider and several menacing kids, as well as bear traps and other dangers. I recommend this one, it's fun. It is however rated teen so not for little kids.
