Year of the Dog is an interesting movie, it stars Molly Shannon and isn't typical of anything I've seen from her before. In case you've been under a rock for the last ten years Molly Shannon was a key player on Saturday Night Live and has been in several features including 1999's Superstar.
Last night I was watching Year of the Dog and I realized why I like Molly Shannon so much, she is an incredible actress and her comedic skills are on point. This movie is about a quirky animal lover, I'm not sure if you know any crazy animal people but this movie is a satirical portrait of one and it's very funny. If you get a chance to you should check it out.
