Sonia Sotomayor is the new supreme court justice.

Sotomayor is set to be the first Hispanic supreme court justice, and after hearing this news I'm very happy to see that Washington is getting some much needed diversity. There are many people who argue that she is not qualified and I really am not sure what qualifications one needs to be a justice other than years of training and loads of experience. I am happy since Sotomayor will offer some fresh perspective and might have some different insight on the issues she'll be faced with, the only way to really tell if she is qualified is over time and how well she does in this new position of hers.
