New track.
I been working out some beats recently and experimenting with chords and a middle 8. This was completed yesterday and it's not too bad, it's not great either. I hopefully will get to a place where I'm excited about sharing my recordings. This one is about a bunch of things, love related. It's called Suspense.

Anggun - Je Partirai
Anggun has lifted the second single from her highly anticipated by me album, released later this year in French and about 17 other languages, just kidding, but seriously like 2 more, English and Indonesian. This song is a grower, I always am impressed with anything Anggun produces though so this is no exception.

New Music
So with GaGa's massive CD out and most likely to dominate all formats of media, let's take moment to look at some other pop stars who might not get a chance to shine, meh. First up, my favorite redhead Nicola Roberts of Aloud fame, just premiered her debut single entitled Beat of My Drum and it's very catchy (kitchy perhaps?) Diplo has co-producing credit and is one to watch (production credits also on Bey's recent Girls... track), Robyn is still promoting the Body Talk album and the latest signal is Call Your Girlfriend, one of my favorites of the album. Adele is also a big one to watch, Rolling in The Deep is part of every conversation I have a bout music lately, it makes sense since Amy Whinehouse has basically given up on a music career. Britney and Rihanna? What can I say, two of the bigger names that left me somewhat underwhelm with their latest efforts, whilst solid, promotionally boring. Nicole whateverherlastnameis has an album out in the UK and it is scheduled for release stateside in August, the latest single is so catchy and allegedly a Rihanna reject, which she really should have kept...So in less than ten minutes my rant is done, now to find a nice pic of Nicola to seal the deal.

Monet's Waterlilies
The Wadsworth Atheneum is the local museum of arts downtown, it boasts many fine events one of my favorites is the happy hour the used to have, creative cocktails or something to that affect. Anyway they feature a free entry every last Saturday of the month between 10am and 1pm. I happened to go about a month ago and saw the Monet exhibition. It was very impressive considering the majority of the paintings were created in his old age and they are in essence the embodiment of expressionism.

Four new shots
I'm currently taking a small photography class at the Hartford public library, the teacher is a photojournalist and I recently completed an assignment and selected several of my shots for consideration in a gallery event this summer. I already have two pieces of my art work (pen and ink drawings) and hopefully I'll get at least two pictures in too.
