Anggun - Only Love/Echos

So 2011 is shaping out to be an exciting year in music, we see Britney, GaGa and Beyonce all gearing up to release new music, and countless other artists. I'm most excited for Anggun who's last release was 2008's Elevation, which was released in French speaking county and Internationally as well as to Asian markets. Her first single released on April 11 is the melodic Only Love, which has a french version and also Indonesian version showcasing multi-cultural versatility, which is one of the things I admire about Anggun who is now signed to Warner. The promotional picture for the single looks gorgeous and I can not wait until September for the tentative release of the new album; Echos, which will get a variety of releases, including French and International versions - the most exciting is what appears to be the Indonesian release which might get a full album treatment rather than the one or two re-working of songs already in French or English. Fridays

I turned 32 last Friday and I have to say this has been one of the most uneventful birthdays I've had, I almost forgot about my own birthday and that's pretty sad, considering most of my friends forgot, but thankfully I have family members who remember or one close friend (sister really) who remembered too early and called me the day before, yet I still forgot. So anyway I've been busy with school and I'm really starting to get the mid-term slump where I'm starting to slack a little, so I'm back on track this week, I have like three papers to write and I haven't started yet, at least one is due tomorrow and I have some lee-way until next week, one is due Friday and I've already gotten an extension on it so I have to get it done and also put together a power-point presentation, breathe.
