The holidays are upon us

I have to say after the food fest of Thanksgiving and the upcoming Christmas I have to say I've been feeling a bit of the holiday blues, partly because I'm a little lonely, there isn't that special someone to share the season with and I'll be without a New Year's eve kiss, yet again. All my prospects are totally disappointing, so I guess the question for me is this the end of my romantic years? Will I ever fall in love again, will something be lasting and real for me? I know sometimes I front like I'm all tough and can do without love, but it's not so bad to have.

To the Gods, please send me someone to love.

Thanksgiving

Thanksgiving is upon us and like most people I'm getting ready to eat and pass out from too much food, I really doubt I'll eat that much, but I'll pull out my comfy pants tonight just as a precaution. Anyway here's a clip of Bjork performing one of my favorite songs ever Unison

Wishes...

So hypothetically, what if Genies were real, what would you wish for? I would wish for something special that I will keep to myself for now...

but here is something funny in the meantime,
check out a funny cartoon below.

The Top 50 R&B/Hip-Hop Artists of the past 25 years.

Billboard compiled the top twenty-five artists in R&B and Hip-Hop and the list is interesting since it does not include a few artists that more than should have made the list in my humble opinion. For example Missy Elliot, Busta Rhymes and Kelis.

Someone hire me already!

I need a job, I've been trying to get ahead of the seasonal rush and take advantage of the holiday work demand. So if you're reading this world, I need work!

Breaking up is hard to do...

Everybody knows how it sucks to get dumped or to dump someone for that matter (and if they don't then they're incredibly lucky). What's worse is breaking up before a major holiday especially Christmas and what's even worse is breaking up on your birthday or anywhere near that time. Recently a friend of mine broke up and was whining to me confiding about the heartache of being newly single. I decided to write a blog about my top five ways to get over an ex :
5.Go shopping; nothing feels better than buying crap you don't need after a breakup
4.Workout or pigout; if you're out of shape it's a good time to hit the gym, if you're the opposite then a few extra carbs never hurt, I recommend ice-cream
3.Dust off your little black book or in this day and age your blackberry (you get the picture)
2.Hit up all your old single haunts, the ones you abandoned when you were part of a duo and be fun again
1. Find a rebound! be on to the next!
...and while you're humming I will survive check out this link
