Well after much anticipation and hype the new site was unveiled today again and again, it is a total disappointment and I know it's supposed to be better when all the glitches are fixed but it sucks right now since it isn't working the way it's supposed to. Right before the weekend too, what's a guy to do? Reading a book is totally out of the question.

I'm totally late, I never saw this in the theatres, but I intended on purchasing it when it arrived on DVD. Having seen it I must say it's a very cool movie, and not at all what I was expecting, I especially like the fact that these superheros have limitations with the exception of the blue naked guy, who is the worst one of the group, just because he is dumb and naked or at least in my opinion and not very hung. Check out this movie it's a good one. Also the actor pictured above is not the actor playing the Comedian in the movie, but he's better looking so the picture stays (Jeffrey Dean Morgan is the actor in film).

Recently I purchased a photographic book of an erotic nature, I haven't received it yet but I'm eagerly anticipating it. It's part of an ongoing trend with me as I've been fascinated by the work of James Bidgood which has led to an understanding of the inspiration of Pierre et Gilles, I am interested in creating some photographs of this nature as well. So our lady of dance hits is back with another greatest hits and DVD collection come Spetember, I'm really excited seeing as this is exciting news for any Madonna fan. I am especially excited for the DVD which will include many or most of Madonna videos which for the first time will be available on DVD. I truly hope Don't Tell Me makes the cut since that is one of my all time Madonna favorites and I've never had it on DVD, I haven't seen it in awhile so I'm looking forward to this collection.

“Celebration,” the CD will also include two new songs that were recently recorded in New York City. The first single, also titled, “Celebration,” co-produced by Madonna and Paul Oakenfold, will be released August 3rd. A video for the single, which will be included on the “Celebration” DVD was just filmed in Milan, Italy and was directed by long time Madonna collaborator Jonas (“Ray of Light”) Akerlund. Several dance club remixes of “Celebration” are already headed to the clubs. The song will also be available on CD and vinyl maxi. Radio will receive the “Celebration” single on August 3rd.

Dazzler for all you comic heads out there, was first introduced in Uncanny X-Men # 130, she has been one of my favorites of the X-Men/Mutants since she is a musician/artist and was involved in movies, fashion and all the celebrity glamour of the early '80s. Here is a bit of Dazzler's bio from the Marvel universe:
Alison's "technological secret" may have been safe regarding the average citizen, but for the U.S. Government, it was a pressing affair. Alison was whisked away by Project: PEGASUS against her will to undergo several strenuous tests regarding her mutant powers. While at PEGASUS, Dazzler witnessed several other super-powered beings being held captive, including Klaw and Solarr. As time went on, Alison became increasingly intolerant toward the members of Project: PEGASUS. The researchers found that Alison had no natural limit to her abilities, and theoretically could be the most powerful mutant on Earth, with unlimited energy potential. Intolerance swiftly turned into aggression, and -- upon witnessing Klaw being tested by PEGASUS technicians -- inadvertently freed the villain. Klaw then turned his energies upon Dazzler, unaware that her mutant ability transformed sonic energy into light-based energy. A new Disney classic?

Finally there is a new princess on the block, along with a new slew of merchandise in the Disney franchise. I'd be a liar if I said I wasn't eagerly waiting to see this. I am actually happy about the fact that there is a new movie from Disney which doesn't feature black people as animals and some sidekick. It is overdue but it's better than nothing. I'm not sure of the plot but I must say I hope it lives up to the classic Disney tradition of excellence. I'm a fan in case you hadn't realized yet. I recorded a demo yesterday, it's entirely an instrumental using keyboards(piano) alone. I am in the process of writing some lyrics and recording a full demo track. I've been entertaining the idea of making some demos all year long and it's been such a timely effort since everything that could have put my plans on halt, have actually happened and my biggest concern is to find a job. The hardest thing is waiting to start, because I've had some great ideas for tracks but no means of producing them so it just really is frustrating at times. Hope alive I will press on, watch this space for upcoming surprises.
